Alphabond AN1300 single component moisture cure polyurethane developed for application by roller coater.

AN1300 can be used for many structural applications and is ideally suited for the construction of load bearing sandwich panels, laminates for caravans, architectural cladding, cold stores, portable buildings, refrigerated vehicles and dry freight containers.

HANDLING & APPLICATIONS

All substrates must be clean of any dust, grit, loose material, wax, grease and oil.
Some metals may require the use of a primer to achieve a satisfactory bond.
- AN1300 is applied by trowel, notched scraper, hand roller coater or an
automatic bead applicator to one surface at a coating weight of 50 – 150 grams by square meter.
- The infill is then placed on top,
- The second outer panel is coated & laid on the infill & pressed in a vacuum press
for 20 –35 minutes.
Alphabond AN1300 cures when exposed to moisture in the air and/or in the substrate. The adhesive cures within 30 minutes.
All bonds should be left for at least 24 hours before placed in intended use.
Alpha Cleaner T559 should be used to remove residues from surfaces.
HEALTHY & SAFETY INFORMATION
Alphabond AN1300 is classified as hazardous according to Directive EC 1272/2008. Please refer to the Alphabond AN1300 Safety Data Sheet for further health & safety information.
Alphabond AN1300 should be stored in its original container, with the lid tightly secured, in dry conditions and at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. Alphabond AN1300 will keep satisfactorily for up to 12 months from date of manufacture if stored according to the recommended conditions.
